Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ulquiorra Segura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stone Flail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flail comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Check Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself by Ice Cube kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ulquiorra Segura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Stone Flail! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flail listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Segura defending well as Flail loads up on a big left hand. Flail cracks Segura with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Stone Flail seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Flail swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Segura was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Segura gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Flail. Flail cracks Segura with a right hand to the side of the head. Flail throws a series of strikes that have Segura backpedaling.
Segura fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Flail throws a combination that misses and Segura holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Flail throws a head punch that misses. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Segura gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Flail regains guard.
Segura is stalling in the full guard. Flail wants to get back to his feet but Segura is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Segura sitting in guard here, content to control. Flail is looking to stand up but Segura isn't so interested in that idea. Segura pushes down on Flail's leg and manages to get into half guard. Segura is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Flail really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Segura. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Flail throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Segura sees it coming and avoids it easily. Stone Flail is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Segura avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Flail connects with a single shot there. Flail lands with a straight right. Segura didn't see that one coming. Flail cracks Segura with an open hand slap. Segura goes for a double leg but Flail avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Flail continues to drive forward. Flail has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Segura looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ulquiorra Segura. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Flail connects with a single shot there. A head kick misses from Flail. Flail walks into a straight right hand from Segura. Flail swinging wildly here.
Segura avoids a punch combination nicely.
Flail missing with a left hand there. Segura was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Flail misses with a two punch combination.
Segura has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Segura there as he acknowledges the shot. Good shot there by Flail. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Segura uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Flail. It looked like Segura was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Flail. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Segura is defended easily by Flail.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Flail swats away the attempt to clinch by Segura. Segura staying out of range there. Flail will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Segura gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Flail. Segura walks into a straight right hand from Flail. Segura just misses with a punch to the body.
Flail throws a big shot that misses. A decent looking cross lands there for Flail. Flail throws a low kick but it's checked well by Segura. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stone Flail dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Flail scores with a punch to the head. Flail takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Flail throws a lazy right hand but Segura sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Segura swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Stone Flail seems to be getting the better of the standup. Segura bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Flail gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Flail wants to stand up but Segura is controlling him. Flail has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Segura controlling from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Segura won't allow Flail to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flail avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Segura pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Flail is keeping the position for now. Flail wants to stand up but Segura is controlling him. Segura slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Flail wants to get back to his feet but Segura is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Segura's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Flail connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Segura scrambles back to his feet. Flail throws a hook but Segura blocks it. Segura swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flail uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Flail connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Segura lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Segura tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Flail manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Segura lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Flail looks to land a right hand but Segura moved out of range. Flail slips a straight right by Segura. Flail throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Segura sees it coming and avoids it easily. Flail throws an off balance right hand
and Segura counters with a left to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Flail tries to sprawl but Segura drives through with a takedown into half guard. Flail is looking to escape. Segura with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Segura wants to free his trapped foot but Flail is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Segura performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Segura seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Flail for as long as he can get away with. Segura working over Flail with some ground and pound. Flail looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Segura frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Segura looking to control and managing it successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Segura's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Flail really wants to buck Segura off and get back to his feet. Segura is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Segura extends the arm and Flail is forced to tap!
