Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spartak Yuri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MT Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberts is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rockstar. Spartak Yuri looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Spartak Yuri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, MT Roberts! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yuri lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Yuri scores with a jab to the body. Yuri swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Roberts drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Yuri defends it well.
Yuri forces Roberts back against the cage and clinches. Yuri looking to throw knees to the head but Roberts is blocking nicely.
Roberts avoids the elbow strike from Yuri, against the cage.
Yuri definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Roberts goes for a takedown attempt but Yuri pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

It looks like MT Roberts has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yuri misses with a body kick. and Roberts counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Roberts pushes down on Yuri's leg and manages to get into half guard. Yuri wants to sweep but Roberts has passed to side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yuri is breathing heavily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Yuri tries to get back to half guard but can't. Roberts is staying tight to Yuri's torso, preventing him from escaping. Yuri is looking for a sweep. Roberts slows the pace down.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Yuri is looking to regain half guard here but Roberts keeps moving and retains side control. Yuri is working hard here to advance position. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Yuri is looking to regain half guard here but Roberts keeps moving and retains side control. Yuri is trying to escape the position but Roberts is controlling the position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Roberts wants the takedown. Yuri is fighting it off but Roberts persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Yuri's guard against the cage. Roberts is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Yuri is looking to sweep but instead, Roberts has passed into half guard.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Roberts controlling from the full mount. Yuri is looking to get to half guard. Roberts controlling the position easily from mount. It looks like Roberts might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but MT Roberts will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on MT Roberts's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

so Roberts counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Roberts stalling. Yuri tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Roberts manages to move to mount!

Roberts takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Yuri is trying desperately to improve position. Roberts looking to control and managing it successfully.

Roberts has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Roberts controlling from the full mount. Roberts's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Yuri is trying desperately to improve position. Roberts looking to control and managing it successfully. Yuri can't escape the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Roberts takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
MT Roberts showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on MT Roberts's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Yuri closes the distance and pushes Roberts back into the cage. Roberts blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Yuri is fighting off a takedown attempt but Roberts is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Yuri to the mat. Yuri regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Roberts is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Roberts sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Yuri's guard. Roberts sitting and controlling from the half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Let's hope that Roberts has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Yuri wants to get back to full guard but Roberts has passed into side control.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Yuri is trying to improve his position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Roberts controls the position. Roberts is continuing to stall. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Yuri is trying to get back to half guard. MT Roberts has got the better of the ground game so far. Roberts just content to control the position.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Yuri thows a leg kick but Roberts checks it
and Roberts counters with a single leg into guard. Yuri didn't expect that.
Yuri looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Roberts has picked Yuri up and slammed him! Yuri can't keep hold of the triangle and Roberts manages to pass to side control! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Yuri is looking for a sweep. Roberts in side control, just content to control the action for now. Yuri is trying to get back to half guard. Roberts happy to just control the position for now.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A good leg kick by Yuri. Yuri misses with an uppercut. Roberts tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Yuri takes the fight into the clinch. Yuri misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Roberts.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Yuri misses with a knee strike.
Roberts gets a trip takedown into half guard. Yuri wants to sweep but Roberts has passed to side control!
And that's the end of the fight! MT Roberts comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Roberts winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
