Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jon Erik Andersen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuck Harrison! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andersen tries to clinch but Harrison is having none of it. Andersen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Andersen bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Jon Erik Andersen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Andersen has closed the distance and engaged Harrison in a clinch.
Andersen struggles to land a body shot inside as Harrison controls his hands.
Harrison wants to stall.
The referee calls for Andersen to work.
Harrison tries to pull guard but Andersen forces him back to his feet, against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knees in the clinch landing for Andersen.

It looks like Chuck Harrison has been cut. Andersen has picked Harrison up - he's going for a ride! Andersen dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Andersen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Andersen works his way into full mount! Harrison is desperately trying to improve his position but Andersen has a good base and remains in mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andersen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Harrison tries to get back to half guard but can't. Harrison in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Andersen cracks Harrison with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Harrison is rocked!
That has opened up Chuck Harrison's cut even more. Andersen looking to control and managing it successfully. Andersen is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Harrison is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Harrison flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Andersen anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Harrison and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Andersen slips an arm under Harrison chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Andersen has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Andersen is squeezing on Harrison like an anaconda would it's prey. Harrison fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jon Erik Andersen! During a confident post fight interview, Jon Erik Andersen thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
