Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Han Solo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bat Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Man's choice of entrance music: The Dark Knight Rises. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Han Solo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bat Man!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solo keeps the fight on the outside.
Man lands with a cross.


It looks like Han Solo has been cut.

Solo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Man looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Man tries to improve position but can't.

Solo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Man knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Han Solo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Solo has control of Man's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Man regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Solo is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Man can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's time! Solo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Man cracks Solo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Man has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Solo to stand back up!

Bat Man seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Solo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Man swivels and escapes.
Oh Solo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Man tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Solo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Solo half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Man tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Solo seems to have got his legs back now.

Solo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Man's guard.

Man working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Solo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Solo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Han Solo tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
