Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lee Cooke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asher Zebedaios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lee Cooke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Asher Zebedaios! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cooke shoots in for a double leg but Zebedaios sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Zebedaios wants to clinch. It appears Cooke was looking to counter with a kick there. Cooke avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A solid body kick from Zebedaios. Zebedaios moves in looking to clinch but Cooke pushes him off. Zebedaios bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cooke's head backwards. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zebedaios lands with a slapping head kick. Zebedaios misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cooke throws a counter high kick but Zebedaios was just alert enough to avoid it. Zebedaios lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Zebedaios. Cooke keeps the fight on the outside. Cooke throws a big counter combination but Zebedaios scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cooke shoots in but Zebedaios avoids the takedown attempt easily. Zebedaios misses with a head kick.

Cooke throws a counter high kick but Zebedaios was just alert enough to avoid it. Zebedaios looks winded! Cooke swats away the attempt to clinch by Zebedaios. Zebedaios lands a right hook to the body.

and Cooke counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Cooke closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zebedaios circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lee Cooke. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cooke shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Zebedaios defends it nicely. Zebedaios finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Cooke is looking to counter punch. Zebedaios moves in looking to clinch but Cooke pushes him off. As Zebedaios looks to move away, Cooke throws a big counter combo bu Zebedaios just gets out of the way. Zebedaios rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cooke moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Zebedaios looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cooke throws a quick counter head kick but Zebedaios was just out of range. Cooke moves away from the strike by Zebedaios. Cooke shoots in but Zebedaios avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cooke shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Zebedaios defends it nicely. Zebedaios throws a chopping leg kick but Cooke manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Cooke gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Zebedaios to score an easy takedown into full guard. Cooke is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Cooke pulls Zebedaios in to control the position. Zebedaios won't allow Cooke to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zebedaios wants to control from the top but Cooke keeps moving. Cooke has his hands on Zebedaios's head, controlling the position. Cooke not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Zebedaios throws a big elbow that misses.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Zebedaios pivots, looking for a leg kick but Cooke is out of range and Zebedaios settles back down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Asher Zebedaios dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Zebedaios jabs Cooke to the body, keeping him at a distance. Zebedaios defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cooke. Cooke on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Cooke moves out of range of the strikes. Cooke throws a big counter combination but Zebedaios scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Zebedaios scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Cooke is looking to regain half guard here but Zebedaios keeps moving and retains side control. Zebedaios trying to control the action but Cooke is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cooke keeps Zebedaios under control for a moment. Zebedaios has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Zebedaios is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cooke really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Zebedaios trying to control the action but Cooke is working from the bottom. Cooke is trying to improve his position. Cooke looks to move to half guard but instead Zebedaios has passed into mount! Damn! Zebedaios sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Zebedaios sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Zebedaios controlling his opponent. Cooke is wriggling around trying to escape.
Zebedaios throws some wild stikes that Cooke manages to avoid easily.
Zebedaios unloads with some shots from mount but Cooke bucks and avoids them well.

Zebedaios throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zebedaios with shots to the head and body - Cooke looks very uncomfortable down there. Zebedaios takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Zebedaios looking to control but Cooke is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Zebedaios controlling the position easily from mount. Zebedaios thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Zebedaios looking to secure an arm triangle but Cooke defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zebedaios can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cooke is looking to escape. Cooke tries to hold on but Zebedaios pushes him away. Cooke can't escape the position.
Cooke blocking the ground and pound. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cooke holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Zebedaios tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Asher Zebedaios showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Zebedaios throws a right and a left that both miss. Nice shot lands for Zebedaios. Cooke swats away the attempt to clinch by Zebedaios. Cooke throws a big counter combination but Zebedaios scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Zebedaios connects with a high kick. Zebedaios misses the shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zebedaios misses with a kick to the body and Cooke counters with a one-two to the body. Zebedaios moves in looking to clinch but Cooke pushes him off. Zebedaios throws a hook but Cooke avoids it easily. Zebedaios takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Zebedaios throws a body punch but Cooke moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zebedaios with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

and Cooke counters with a three punch combo that has Zebedaios backing up. Zebedaios nods at Cooke to acknowledge the strikes. Cooke scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Cooke lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Cooke trying to control the action but Zebedaios is working from the bottom. Cooke working away. Cooke slips into full mount, dodging the strikes by Zebedaios.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cooke pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Cooke has control of Zebedaios's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Zebedaios regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Zebedaios is looking to improve his position but Cooke isn't that keen on the idea. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cooke punishing his opponent with strikes. Cooke pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Cooke controlling his opponent. Cooke with shots to the head and body - Zebedaios looks very uncomfortable down there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cooke trying to control but Zebedaios is having none of it. Zebedaios is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Asher Zebedaios has got the better of the ground game so far. Cooke with the ground and pound from mount. Zebedaios tries to get back to half guard but can't. Zebedaios has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Cooke is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Zebedaios can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Cooke with good strikes from the mount here! Cooke tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zebedaios keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Cooke landing shots from mount. Cooke sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The referee warns Zebedaios that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Lee Cooke has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Asher Zebedaios is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Cooke lands a couple of good shots and Zebedaios has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
And that's the end of the fight! Lee Cooke showed his dominance in that final round. I think Zebedaios has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
