Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Church (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allen Lombard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lombard moves into the clinch.
Church swings wildly with an uppercut but Lombard uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lombard using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Church has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Church cracks Lombard with a nice body shot.

That was a close round but I would say that Leonard Church will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Lombard jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Church walks away with a smile on his face. Lombard gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lombard is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Church sees it coming and defends easily.
Lombard uses his free foot to push down on Church's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Church.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Church staying busy and making it hard for Lombard to control.
Lombard is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Church defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Lombard is looking for the choke from the back position but Church is controlling his hands well.
Allen Lombard has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
