The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yeets wants to land a leg kick but McKenna is out of range.
McKenna looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Yeets feints and as McKenna raises his hands in defense, Yeets changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Yeets passes McKenna's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yeets wants to control but McKenna is keeping him busy.
Still in half guard, Yeets seems content to control.
McKenna avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Yeets.
Yeets takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Yeets has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
