Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sky Hook!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mario Cart!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cart misses with a looping left.
Hook was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Hook misses with a hook.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Cart! But no joy.
Hook steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cart.
Hook scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cart doesn't seem bothered though.
Cart connects with a crisp jab.
Hook misses with a body punch
and Cart holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Hook fails to land.
Cart tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hook's elbow.
Cart works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cart throws a punch but it's blocked by Hook.
Cart lands a nice uppercut.
Still in the clinch, Cart scores with a nice short uppercut.
A right hook to the body lands for Cart.

A frustrated look appears on Hook's face as he tries to break the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hook takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Cart pulls guard.
Cart had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hook defends it easily.
Cart looking for a guillotine here but Hook defends easily.
Cart keeping moving, preventing Hook from controlling successfully.
Cart throws his legs up looking for a submission but Hook uses it to pass to side control.

Cart is trying to improve his position.
Cart manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hook's best efforts.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cart makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cart.
Cart is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hook is aware though and is defending well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Cart is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Hook controls from within his opponent's guard.
Hook is sitting in close to Cart's body. Cart has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hook is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hook is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Cart.
