Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Optimus Prime!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mordecai Sackett!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Sackett does it's job there.
Prime cracks the inside of Sackett's front leg.
Prime tries to clinch but Sackett is having none of it.
Prime takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Prime rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sackett counters with a left to the body.
Sackett takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Prime shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sackett napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Prime swings around for an armbar but Sackett sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Prime's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sackett stands up from guard. Let's bang!
We've been informed that Sackett has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Sackett throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Sackett throws a shot to the body.
Sackett lands a big head kick that sends Prime tumbling to the mat! Sackett takes a step backwards and waves Prime back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Prime is rocked!
A slapping leg kick lands for Sackett.
Oh Prime is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sackett throws a nice inside leg kick.
Sackett shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Prime takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Sackett sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Prime bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
