Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simpson comes into the arena with Straight F'n Edge by-THROWDOWN blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charlie Simpson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tito Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Simpson as he jumps to the side.
Jackson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jackson shoots for a double leg takedown but Simpson sprawls well. He's pushed Jackson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Charlie Simpson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tito Jackson.
Simpson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jackson as he avoids it easily.
Simpson drives through with a takedown into guard.
Simpson is pushing down on Jackson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jackson is fighting to maintain full guard but Simpson has managed to sneak the leg through.
Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Simpson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Simpson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Simpson seems to be working for a kimura but Jackson defends the submission attempt.
Simpson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jackson is just riding it out for now. Simpson eventually gives up the hold.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson is looking to control Simpson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jackson avoid being mounted?
Simpson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Simpson is trying to control the action in half guard but Jackson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Simpson seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Jackson is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Charlie Simpson!
In his post fight interview, Charlie Simpson gave a big smile as he said 'More proof STRAIGHT EDGE rules all'.
