Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vin Diesel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablito Diavolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diavolo has chosen Ain't The Devil Happy as his entrance music. Pablito Diavolo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pablito Diavolo!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diesel closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Diesel lands an elbow inside.

Diesel is trying to trip Diavolo. He has hold of a leg but Diavolo is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Diesel persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Diesel wants to stand but Diavolo has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Diesel trying to control the position from guard on top but Diavolo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Diavolo has his foot on Diesel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Diesel works his way back into a safe position though.
Diesel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diavolo on the ground.
Diesel content to stall in guard here.
Diavolo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Diesel is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Diavolo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Diesel is aware though and is defending well.

Diavolo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Diesel defends well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Diesel slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
We've been informed that Diavolo has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Diavolo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Diesel doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Diesel manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Diesel is posturing up here but Diavolo has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Diesel tries to roll out but it's too tight and Diesel has to tap! Slick submission there by Diavolo!
