Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Markku Huntti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinn is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Crisis by Twista Feat. Tech N9ne. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marcus Quinn! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quinn throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Huntti. Quinn fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Huntti, pushing him back against the cage. Quinn has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Huntti clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Quinn missing with punches from the back. Quinn throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Quinn is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Huntti knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Huntti for a finish. Quinn is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Huntti is defending well though. Quinn let's go of the attempt for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quinn struggling to land strikes to the head as Huntti covers up. Quinn punches the canvas rather than the man. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Quinn's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Quinn tries to land a sweep but no joy. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Huntti might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Quinn has a closed guard, preventing Huntti from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Quinn dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Quinn drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Quinn is chipping away with strikes.
Huntti is not content to let Quinn control the position. Quinn tries to move to full mount but Huntti actually manages to regain half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Huntti blocking the ground and pound attempt from Quinn.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Quinn shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Huntti sprawls well. Huntti wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Quinn gets slowly back to his feet. Huntti feinted with a counter takedown. Quinn ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Quinn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Huntti manages to avoid it. Huntti feinted with a counter takedown. Quinn misses with a hook. Quinn misses with a body shot.
Quinn throws a leg kick but Huntti moved away. Marcus Quinn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Huntti avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Quinn misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Huntti half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Quinn looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Huntti appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Quinn misses with a takedown attempt - Huntti sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Quinn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Huntti drops down looking for a counter takedown but Quinn sprawls and moves away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Quinn tries to clinch up. Huntti attempts a counter takedown but Quinn avoids it well and moves away. Markku Huntti has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Quinn throws a leg kick and Huntti counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Huntti.
