The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mizinski walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Kongo stuffs the takedown.
Mizinski shoots in looking for a takedown. Kongo tries to sprawl out of it but Mizinski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kongo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mizinski fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcin Mizinski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mizinski takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Kongo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mizinski. Mizinski circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Marcin Mizinski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Kongo as Mizinski shoots in.
Kongo stuffs the takedown.
Mizinski takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Mizinski shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kongo but Kongo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kongo throws a nice head kick!
Mizinski is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kongo rushes Mizinski and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Kongo manages to break the clinch.
Kongo lands a front kick.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Mizinski. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Kongo closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Kongo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kongo darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Nice defenses there by Mizinski.
Mizinski takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kongo stuffs the takedown.
Kongo throws a hook but Mizinski blocks it.
The fighters circle, before Kongo throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Mizinski's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Kongo lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
