Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Helo Stevens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Julian Bailey!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey throws a body punch but Stevens moves out of range.
Helo Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bailey fails to land the takedown.

Stevens closes the distance and clinches.

Stevens escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bailey closes the distance and clinches up with Stevens, looking for a takedown. Bailey pushes Stevens against the cage but Stevens circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bailey swats away the attempt to clinch by Stevens.

Stevens rushes Bailey and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bailey drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Stevens gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Stevens seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Stevens is pressed up against the cage. Bailey has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Stevens down to the mat. Stevens avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Stevens moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Bailey wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Stevens has him pressed against the cage.

Stevens gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.

That was a close round but I would say that Helo Stevens will probably get the nod.
