Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks jabs Smith to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Brooks keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Brooks takes the fight into the clinch.
Smith is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Brooks gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Brooks is pressed up against the cage. Smith has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brooks down to the mat. Brooks avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blue Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brooks goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Blue Smith has been cut.
Smith takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Brooks clinches up with Smith and pushes him back against the cage.
Brooks lands a nice knee to the body.

Come on Brooks - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Brooks shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A little feinted left hand from Smith on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brooks finds Smith's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Smith flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Brooks lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Smith will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dakota Brooks!
