Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Smoosh Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Long Timer! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Timer throws a right and a left that Jackson avoids nicely. Timer bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Jackson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Timer scores with a crisp jab that stopped Jackson in his tracks. A punch combination from Timer misses. Jackson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jackson walks into a straight right hand from Timer. Timer should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Horrible takedown attempt by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Timer, which made it look bad. As Jackson backs off Timer throws a huge counter combo but Jackson manages to avoid it all. Jackson has his takedown stuffed and Timer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Timer stalks Jackson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jackson's face. Jackson staggers backwards, shaken. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Timer moves into the clinch. Jackson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jackson has a takedown stuffed. Timer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Smoosh Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jackson is breathing heavily. Timer scores with a push kick. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Timer has eaten all the pies!
That's one minute gone in the round. Timer lands with a nice body punch. Timer lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Timer defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jackson. Timer throws a nice inside leg kick. Jackson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Timer tries to avoid it but Jackson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Timer to the ground. Timer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Timer tests Jackson's chin there with a solid looking shot. Timer moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Timer cracks Jackson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Timer fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Jackson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Timer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Timer punishes Jackson's body with a nice straight punch. This has been an exciting period of action! Jackson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Timer moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Timer lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Jackson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Timer shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jackson eats them both and turns towards Timer to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Jackson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Timer is fending him off so far but Jackson persists. Nope, Timer circles away and we're back to standing. Timer lands a two punch combo.
Timer stalks Jackson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jackson's face. Jackson staggers backwards, shaken. Timer connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jackson momentarily.
Jackson is rocked! Timer is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Jackson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Timer with a body punch. A glancing blow. Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jackson fails with the takedown and Timer counters with a nice uppercut. Timer closes the distance and clinches. Timer breaks from the clinch.
A right-left combo lands from Timer. Jackson looks up at the clock. Bad move! Timer lands a right hand from hell, dropping Jackson. Timer pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Long Timer!
