The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venas darts in looking for a takedown but Cooper gets double underhooks and turns Venas into the cage.
Venas fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cooper avoids it really well and circles away.
Venas scores with a takedown into Cooper's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cooper doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Cooper is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Venas rolls with it to try and escape but Cooper cranks on the arm and Venas is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
