The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarnowski throws a half hearted mid kick.
And Tapettava tries to counter it with a takedown but Tarnowski pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Tarnowski has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Thunder MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Tapettava fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tarnowski sprawls well initially but Tapettava persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Tarnowski moves into full guard.
Tapettava wants to control from the top but Tarnowski keeps moving.
Tarnowski is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Tapettava rolls with it to try and escape but Tarnowski cranks on the arm and Tapettava is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
