The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eichmann misses with a head kick.

King decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

King is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

King is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Eichmann defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
King is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Eichmann defends it well.

King uses his free foot to push down on Eichmann's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Eichmann.
