Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Modesto Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen Ready to Fall as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Andrew Jackson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Modesto Price! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andrew Jackson! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Price closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Price has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jackson after a bit of a struggle. Jackson stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Jackson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Price dodges the punch combination from Jackson.
Price drives through with a takedown into guard. Price drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Price jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Jackson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Price accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Price decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jackson, up you get! Price clinches with his opponent.
Jackson scores with a hook to the body. Price is trying to pull guard but Jackson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Jackson trying to stall but Price improves his position.
Price pulls guard. Price trying to control the position.
Price pushes Jackson off and gets back to his feet.
Andrew Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackson clinches up with Price and pushes him back against the cage. Price is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jackson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Modesto Price. That's going to take a lot out of him. Price pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Price. That did some damage! Jackson throws a sloppy head kick and Price moves out of range easily. Jackson misses with a low kick. Price gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jackson tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Jackson is leaning against Price and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Jackson lands a body shot in the clinch.
Price jumps guard but Jackson stands there with Price around his waist. Price gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Price is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jackson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Jackson unloads a knee to the mid-section. Price lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Price is breathing heavily. Price can't get the takedown.
Price looking to stall.
Jackson manages to break the clinch.
Jackson lands a left and a right that send Price crashing to the mat, dazed. Jackson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Price is rocked!
It looks like Modesto Price has been cut. Crack! A monster head kick from Jackson and Price falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Jackson!
