0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Patrick Gore! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bruce lands a jab to Gore's midsection. Bruce takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A swing and a miss from Bruce. Bruce slips under a jab. Gore cracks Bruce with a good jab. Bruce definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Gore scores with a jab.
It looks like Lee Bruce has been cut. A right-left combo lands from Gore. Bruce walks into a straight right hand from Gore. Bruce steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gore. Bruce is looking to counter the offense by Gore and move into the clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bruce punishes Gore's body with a nice straight punch. Bruce takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Gore gets tackled into the cage by Bruce. Bruce maintains the clinch. Bruce lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Gore backwards. Bruce lands a body shot in the clinch.

Gore has had enough of the clinch but Bruce keeps him there for the moment. Gore jumps guard and drags Bruce to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Bruce is looking to advance position but Gore won't allow it. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bruce in particular looking to stall.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Gore misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Bruce counters by clinching up. Gore is looking to take this one to the mat. A left hand lands to the body for Bruce.

Bruce will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Gore up against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Bruce as Gore tries to tie him up.

Bruce stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Bruce lands a hook to the side of the head. Bruce pushes Gore back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Bruce tries a body shot but Gore blocks it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bruce tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Bruce stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bruce slips a jab from Gore. Gore throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bruce gets in close and instigates a clinch. Gore manages to break the clinch.
Gore throws a leg kick but Bruce moved away. Gore looks to land a left hand but Bruce moved out of range nicely. Bruce closes the distance and pushes Gore back into the cage. Bruce scores with a shot to the side of Gore's head. Bruce lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Bruce's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A shot in the inside from Bruce. Bruce digs a right hand underneath Gore's ribcage. Gore let out a lung full of air as it connected. Gore is breathing heavily. Gore tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Gore tries to pull guard but Bruce holds him up against the cage and eventually Gore drops back down to his feet.

Gore's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Gore is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Bruce lands a left hand.
