Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Sutherland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sutherland has chosen 2Pac - Keep Ya Head Up as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Jesse Jones has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jesse Jones seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jesse Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Sutherland! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Nice sprawl there from Sutherland as Jones shoots in. As Jones backs off Sutherland throws a huge counter combo but Jones manages to avoid it all. Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sutherland tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sutherland to the ground. Sutherland escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Sutherland lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Sutherland stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sutherland wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesse Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sutherland gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jones to score an easy takedown into full guard. Jones wants to control from the top but Sutherland keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Despite the aggression on Sutherland's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Sutherland looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Jones moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Sutherland. Sutherland tries to improve position but can't.
