The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason connects with a looping right hand.
Souza steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mason.
Souza looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mason is fending him off so far but Souza persists. Nope, Mason circles away and we're back to standing.

Mason digs a right hand into Souza's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Souza's gas tank.

Mason creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Souza with a big uppercut! Souza tries to clinch up but Mason pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Souza to the mat! Souza covers up and Mason unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Zane Mason!
After winning the bout, Zane Mason thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
