Chimaera comes to the cage accompanied by The Vikings warrior spirit. The Chimaera has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chimaera throws a head kick but Dollar moves out of range.
Diamond Dollar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dollar darts in looking for a takedown but Chimaera gets double underhooks and turns Dollar into the cage.
Chimaera appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
We've been told by Chimaera's head coaches at The Axis of Evil that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Dollar turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

It looked like Chimaera was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Dollar working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Good leg kick by Dollar there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
