The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Bruno Lombardi and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bolton keeps the fight on the outside.
A little jabbing left from Bolton on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Jergensen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Bolton has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Jergensen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bolton to the ground. Jergensen is now in Bolton's guard.

Bolton has his feet on Jergensen's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Bolton lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Oh Jergensen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bolton cracks Jergensen with an open hand slap.

Bolton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jergensen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bolton swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Bolton counters with a stiff right hand.
Bolton throws a jab but it's blocked by Jergensen.
Jergensen darts in trying to clinch
and Bolton counters with a crisp right hand that drops Jergensen! Bolton lets Jergensen back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Jergensen tries to clinch up but Bolton circles away and keeps his distance.
Bolton let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Charles Bolton seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Bolton drops Jergensen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jergensen looks back up at him and smiles so Bolton waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Bolton counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
