Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorg Buttgereit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lunt Cicker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jorg Buttgereit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lunt Cicker!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cicker stuns Buttgereit with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Buttgereit looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Cicker is pulling down on Buttgereit's head to control his posture.
Cicker looking for a sweep. Not yet Cicker, not yet.
Cicker lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Cicker working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Cicker postures up and lands a big shot to Buttgereit's brow.

Buttgereit is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cicker defends well.

Buttgereit had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cicker defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Buttgereit is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Buttgereit is pulling down on Cicker's head. It's preventing any offense from Cicker, at least for the moment.
Cicker throws an elbow that misses. Buttgereit uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cicker's guard. Nice move by Buttgereit!

Buttgereit trying to control the position from guard on top but Cicker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Buttgereit drops back looking for a leg! Cicker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cicker manages to kick Buttgereit off! Buttgereit jumps back into Cicker's guard.

Buttgereit has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Cicker seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Cicker lands a jab to the head.
A combination from Buttgereit does no damage.
Cicker slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Cicker fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Buttgereit to the ground. Cicker is now in Buttgereit's guard.

Cicker throws a strike but Buttgereit rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Our spies down at at Russian Fighting Community Gym inform us that Cicker has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Cicker might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Buttgereit haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Buttgereit accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cicker tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Lunt Cicker will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Buttgereit is trying to control Cicker's posture but Cicker avoids it.

Cicker has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Buttgereit takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Buttgereit holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Cicker trying to control the position but Buttgereit is working away.
Cicker sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Buttgereit is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Cicker cracks Buttgereit with a big right hand but Buttgereit just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The ground and pound from Cicker seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Buttgereit is not content to let Cicker control the position.
Cicker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Buttgereit takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
You can see the frustration on Buttgereit's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Buttgereit prevents Cicker from moving into mount.

Cicker tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cicker has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Cicker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Buttgereit, who protects the arm well.
Buttgereit parries the strikes from Cicker easily there. Cicker is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Buttgereit to escape.
Cicker fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Buttgereit is not content to let Cicker control the position.

Cicker is putting a hurting on Buttgereit here, landing some big shots from side control.
Cicker is chipping away with strikes.
Cicker working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Cicker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Buttgereit tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cicker wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Cicker creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Buttgereit sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Cicker working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Buttgereit tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Cicker lands a decent elbow from side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cicker throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Buttgereit works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Cicker looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Buttgereit with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.


Buttgereit is rocked!
Cicker is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Buttgereit is hurt! He's hurt bad - Cicker fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Buttgereit from any more punishment! Congratulations to Cicker! Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lunt Cicker!
