Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Boone Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giovanni Marella (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marella has chosen "La Vittoria è Mia (Victory Is Mine)" by Jim Johnston as his entrance music. Giovanni Marella is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Head pushes Marella away with a front kick.
Marella tries to close the distance and clinch but Head swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Marella should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Marella doesn't manage to clinch there - Head circles away.
No joy there for Head, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Head fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Marella.
Head fails to land with a series of punches.
Head scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Marella looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Head changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Head uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Marella has time to react.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Head fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Head feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Marella's calf.
Head throws a right and a left that Marella avoids nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Head checks a leg kick.
Head has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Hut - $50 in the buildup to the fight.
Head feints and then cracks Marella's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Marella down.
Head throws out a powerful jab.
Head scores with a jab.
Marella tries to clinch but Head moves out of range.
Head misses with a low kick.
Marella wants to counter the offense by Head and move into the clinch position.
Head lands with an overhand left.
Marella is rocked!
Marella has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Head.
Head lands a right and a left and another right! Marella goes down! Oh, he's in big, big trouble! 3,4,5,6,7,8... he's up to one knee... 9,10! He can't beat the count - this one is all over!
