Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kozlov looks to land a combination but Yang avoids it well.
Kozlov cracks Yang with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Yang has a takedown stuffed.
Kozlov scores with a jab to the head.
Kozlov tries to close the distance and clinch but Yang swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Yang looking to score a takedown here. Kozlov is defending well but Yang drives through and ends up in Kozlov's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yang drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yang jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kozlov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kozlov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Yang has gone for a leg lock! Kozlov slips out almost immediately though and dives into Yang's guard.

Yang is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Kozlov frees his head nicely. Oh but Yang has switched to an armbar! Kozlov is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
