Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Julian Bashir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Julian Bashir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Davidson! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bashir throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bashir will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Davidson shoots in for a takedown but Bashir shows good takedown defense. Davidson moves in looking to clinch but Bashir pushes him off. Davidson is looking to clinch but Bashir is avoiding it.
Davidson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bashir! Bashir avoids a series of strikes thrown by Davidson.
Davidson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bashir has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davidson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bashir is looking to escape. Bashir prevents any damage by holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Davidson looking to finish Bashir with some ground and pound. This is bad for Bashir! Bashir sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Bashir is positioning himself well to prevent Davidson advancing to mount. Davidson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bashir makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bashir. Bashir will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Davidson wanted to stand there but Bashir had control of the position. Bashir keeping moving, preventing Davidson from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bashir lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Davidson! Davidson is trying desperately to improve position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jason Davidson will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Davidson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bashir as he jumps to the side. Davidson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Davidson looks for a takedown but Bashir sprawls well. Davidson misses with a takedown attempt - Bashir sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Julian Bashir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Davidson. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Good standup being displayed there by Bashir as he connects with a hook. Davidson is breathing heavily. Nice uppercut lands for Bashir. That snapped Davidson's head back.

Bashir throws a series of punches but Davidson moves out of range. Julian Bashir is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bashir scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Bashir misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Bashir looks to land a combination. Davidson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Bashir connects with a body shot. Bashir throws a right and a left that Davidson avoids nicely. Davidson takes one on the chin but seems OK.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bashir lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Bashir looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bashir throws a series of punches but Davidson avoids them all with ease. Danga de danga de dang - Bashir scores with a four punch combination! Bashir fails to land with a series of punches.
Bashir lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Bashir scores with a decent looking hook. Bashir looks to land a combination. Davidson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Bashir tests Davidson's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Bashir connects with a body shot. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Bashir scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Bashir lands with a shot to the body. Nice uppercut lands for Bashir. That snapped Davidson's head back.
Bashir swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Davidson ducks right into an uppercut from Bashir. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Julian Bashir dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Bashir connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Davidson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bashir counters with a lovely shot to the body. Bashir thows a body shot but no joy. Bashir moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Bashir smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Bashir takes a swing at Davidson's ribcage but misses. Davidson shoots and misses and Bashir counters with a right hand to the body. Davidson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bashir connects with a looping right hand.
Bashir looks to land a combination but Davidson avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davidson misses with a takedown attempt and Bashir counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Davidson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bashir. Bashir lands with a nice combination. Davidson backs away looking to recover. Bashir bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Davidson's head. Bashir lands a body shot.
Bashir fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Bashir lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bashir stuns Davidson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Bashir ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Davidson takes one to the chin there. Bashir lands a slapping body shot.

Bashir throws a nice looking combination but Davidson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bashir lands a nice shot to the body.

Davidson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Bashir swinging wilding here.
