Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mason Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watson comes into the arena with How Much For One Rib? blaring out of the sound system. James is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by NWO Wolfpack. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Watson defends well and James ends up having to push Watson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
James jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Watson throws a nice inside leg kick.
James looks to land a body kick but Watson moved away.
James ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Watson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. James did well to prevent Watson getting side control.

James takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Horrible takedown attempt by Watson or perhaps it was just good defense by James, which made it look bad.
James lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
