PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hakuna Matata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Winner Four (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hakuna Matata!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Winner Four!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matata closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Matata dives in and grabs Four's left leg, looking for a takedown. Four pushes down on Matata's head and hops out.
Four connects with a leg kick. Matata looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Matata tries to close the distance and clinch but Four swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nice shot by Four.
Matata pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Four looks to land a body kick but Matata moved away.
Four looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Matata wants to clinch up but Four keeps it at a distance.
Matata misses with a jab, cross combination.
Matata closes the distance and clinches up with Four, looking for a takedown. Matata pushes Four against the cage but Four circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Matata throws a nice looking combination but Four bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Four drops Matata with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Matata looks back up at him and smiles so Four waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Hakuna Matata has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Matata thumps Four with a low kick.
Matata throws a right hand that Four ducks under and follows up with a left that Four also avoids with ease.
Matata takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Four seems to be stalking Matata here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Matata drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
