Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Texas Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Weidhead Hesten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Weidhead Hesten!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pete looks to score with a jab to the body but Hesten is just out of range.
Hesten looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Pete seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Pete connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Hesten takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Pete scores with a kick to the midsection.
Pete throws a good cross that connects.
Pete lands with a cross.
Pete throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pete misses with a hook. Hesten ducked under it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hesten throws a leg kick but Pete sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Pete throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A nice side step and Hesten releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Pete lands with a straight right. Hesten didn't see that one coming.
Pete throws a head kick that misses.
Pete backing away here, and Hesten unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Pete is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hesten.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Pete stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Pete throws a leg kick but Hesten sees it coming and moves out of range.

A looping hook to the body misses from Hesten. Pete does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pete tried to counter with a leg kick but Hesten avoided it.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pete, right into the meat.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pete.
Pete scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Pete misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hesten.

Hesten on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Pete attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
A little jabbing left from Hesten on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Pete bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hesten's head backwards.
Hesten will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hesten's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Hesten slips a straight right by Pete.
Pete scores with a jab. Hesten acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hesten doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Hesten sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Pete throws the kick towards the body but Hesten avoids it.
Hesten swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Pete lands a nice shot that snaps Hesten's head back.
Hesten blocks a jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Texas Pete dominated that round.
That's time! Pete's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hesten cracks Pete with a good jab.
Pete misses with a low kick.
Hesten blocks the body kick.
Pete fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hesten.
A nice inside leg kick there by Pete. That's going to slow Hesten down.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Hesten might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Pete has got the better of the exchanges.
Hesten takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Texas Pete seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Hesten is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Pete has denied him.

Pete drops Hesten onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Hesten is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Hesten is rocked!
Pete lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Hesten to his knees! Pete keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
