The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Hendricks - just one landing.
Walker shoots in and drives through. Hendricks sprawls well.
Walker checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Hendricks throws a low kick but Walker moves out of range easily.
Walker shoots in looking for a takedown. Hendricks tries to sprawl out of it but Walker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hendricks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice takedown defense from Hendricks. No joy for Walker on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Walker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hendricks displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Walker.
Hendricks lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Walker backs up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hendricks dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hendricks lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Walker takes a body punch but keeps moving.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hendricks drops Walker with a huge uppercut! Walker drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Hendricks is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
