Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernardu Palmier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fernardu Palmier will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, George Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Fernardu Palmier!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Palmier enables Anderson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Palmier manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Anderson trying to control the position from guard on top but Palmier is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Anderson gets to his feet - Palmier follows without any prompting.
Anderson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Palmier tries to avoid it but Anderson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Palmier to the ground. Palmier escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Anderson clinches up with Palmier and pushes him back against the cage.
Palmier lands a shot to the body.
Palmier is working Anderson over against the cage.
A body shot lands from Palmier.
Anderson is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Palmier is defending well.
Anderson is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Palmier.
Anderson can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Palmier lands a nice uppercut.
Anderson is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Palmier works on Anderson's body with a couple of short punches.
Oh Anderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Palmier dips a shoulder and cracks Anderson with a mighty uppercut! Anderson falls back against the cage and Palmier unloads with a barrage of strikes! Anderson is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Palmier screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fernardu Palmier!
