Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergiej Kravchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Macotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Macotti has chosen Drown - Theory of a Deadman as his entrance music. Sergiej Kravchenko could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Marco Macotti's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sergiej Kravchenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marco Macotti! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kravchenko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kravchenko ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kravchenko cracks Macotti with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kravchenko has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Macotti to stand back up!
Macotti is rocked!
It looks like Marco Macotti has been cut. Kravchenko misses with an uppercut
and Macotti counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Macotti shoots in looking for a takedown. Kravchenko tries to sprawl out of it but Macotti keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kravchenko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kravchenko throws a head kick but Macotti moves out of range.
It seemed like Macotti was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. We've been told by Kravchenko's head coaches at Bad Pluto! (18 Elite Coach) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Kravchenko lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Macotti lands a heavy elbow. Kravchenko is working hard here to advance position. Macotti landing strikes, looking to finish! The referee warns Kravchenko that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Macotti lands a heavy elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Macotti avoids the attempt from Kravchenko to control. BOOM! Macotti connects with a massive shot to the dome!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kravchenko tries to lock up and control but Macotti gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Macotti is working for a guillotine from mount but Kravchenko frees his head quite easily.
Macotti is in the full mount, landing strikes. Kravchenko is squirming around, avoiding Macotti's attempts to control the action. Kravchenko is trying desperately to improve position. Macotti cracks Kravchenko with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Kravchenko is desperately trying to improve his position but Macotti has a good base and remains in mount. Macotti has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kravchenko sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Macotti working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Macotti prevents Kravchenko from improving his position. Macotti seems to be working for a kimura but Kravchenko defends the submission attempt. Macotti is looking for a kimura here.

Marco Macotti dominated that round. The cut man is working on Marco Macotti's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Macotti counters with a straight right hand. Sergiej Kravchenko is winning the standup battle so far. Kravchenko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Macotti. Macotti swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Kravchenko looks to land a right hand but Macotti moved out of range. A little jabbing left from Macotti on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Good leg kick by Kravchenko there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Macotti walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Kravchenko throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Macotti looks like he wants to counter punch here. Kravchenko with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice defenses there by Macotti. Macotti ducks under a wild hook from Kravchenko. Kravchenko feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Macotti's calf.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kravchenko throws the left hand but Macotti avoids the punch easily. Kravchenko misses with a hook. Macotti ducked under it nicely. Macotti tries to counter by closing the distance. Kravchenko swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Macotti. Macotti takes one to the side of the head.
Macotti is still on wobbly legs! Can Kravchenko finish him? Macotti scores with a takedown into Kravchenko's guard. Macotti seems to have recovered his senses. Macotti scoring with some ground and pound. Kravchenko keeping full guard, as Macotti tries to pass. Macotti trying to control but Kravchenko is working from the bottom. Macotti thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Macotti drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kravchenko looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kravchenko looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kravchenko!

Macotti is looking to regain half guard here but Kravchenko keeps moving and retains side control. Kravchenko taking a breather here. Kravchenko swings around for an armbar but Macotti sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kravchenko's guard.

Macotti gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Macotti passes into half guard. Kravchenko trying to control but Macotti postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Macotti is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kravchenko sees it coming and defends easily. Kravchenko is looking to control Macotti's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kravchenko avoid being mounted? Macotti throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kravchenko wants to control but Macotti is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kravchenko wants to get back to full guard. Macotti is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kravchenko defends it well. Marco Macotti has got the better of the ground game so far. Macotti uses his free foot to push down on Kravchenko's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kravchenko. Kravchenko sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Kravchenko is defending against the submission attempts here by Macotti.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sergiej Kravchenko will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Marco Macotti's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Macotti wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kravchenko, who protects the arm well. Macotti advances nicely into full mount. Macotti lands a big elbow. Macotti working for a submission but Kravchenko is keeping him at bay. Macotti tries to control but Kravchenko wriggling away. Kravchenko wants to control but Macotti is having none of it. Macotti looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Kravchenko sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Macotti is looking to take a break and control but Kravchenko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Macotti is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kravchenko defends it well. Kravchenko keeps control of the position for the meantime. Macotti is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Kravchenko is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Macotti pulls his head out easily. Kravchenko wants to get back to full guard.
