Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Couture kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mama said knock you out. Ward comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Irigy Hónaljmirigy - Rúgj Chuck Norris (Chuck Norris parody by Hungarians) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Brandon Couture had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 11 - 1, fighting out of London, Tommy Ward!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward slips a jab from Couture.
Couture pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Ward shoots in looking for a takedown but Couture manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ward's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ward fails with the takedown.
Couture throws a jab but it's blocked by Ward.
Ward clinches up with Couture and pushes him back against the cage.
Couture manages to break the clinch.
Couture connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ward momentarily.
It looks like Tommy Ward has been cut.
Brandon Couture seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ward tries to score a power double leg takedown but Couture sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ward somewhat.
Brandon Couture has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Ward.
Ward shoots in and bounces Couture off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ward prevents Couture from getting back to his feet.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Ward working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Ward trying to control but Couture is working from the bottom.
Couture avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Ward must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ward wants to pass the guard but Couture is keeping the position.
Couture wants to get back to his feet but Ward is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Couture pushes Ward off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Couture connects with a right hand. Ward shakes it off.
Ward is rocked!
Ward looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ward is still on wobbly legs! Can Couture finish him?
Couture lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Ward - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Couture!
