11 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Christopher Walken! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dos Santos misses with a body shot.
It seemed like Walken was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Dos Santos is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Walken. Dos Santos fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Walken misses the jab. Good standup being displayed there by Dos Santos as he connects with a hook. A nice leg kick lands there from Walken. Walken tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dos Santos paws at him with a jab and circles away. Walken tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dos Santos manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Dos Santos uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Walken. Walken throws a low kick but Dos Santos moves out of range easily. Walken uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dos Santos.

Dos Santos has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Dos Santos drops down looking for a counter takedown but Walken sprawls and moves away. Dos Santos pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. That's one minute gone in the round. Walken throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dos Santos lunges at Walken with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Walken's hand. Walken misses with a low kick. Dos Santos feinted with a counter takedown. Dos Santos tests Walken's chin there with a solid looking shot. Walken avoids a punch combination nicely.
Walken will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Dos Santos is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Walken lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Dos Santos saw that one coming. Dos Santos drops his hands momentarily and Walken takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Walken ducks under a wild hook from Dos Santos. Walken now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Walken is looking to clinch. Walken throws a jab but it's blocked by Dos Santos. Walken lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Dos Santos fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Walken has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Walken slips a straight right by Dos Santos. Walken is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Walken looks to land a combination but Dos Santos avoids it well. Dos Santos lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dos Santos looks to throw the jab but Walken is out of range. Dos Santos lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Walken is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walken moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Walken tries to clinch up but Dos Santos circles away and keeps his distance. Dos Santos lands a jab to the head.

Walken scrambles back to his feet. A big right from Dos Santos misses. Dos Santos keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Walken. Walken tries to clinch there but Dos Santos circles away.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Walken throws the left hand but Dos Santos avoids the punch easily. Dos Santos scores with a body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dos Santos darts in looking for a takedown but Walken gets double underhooks and turns Dos Santos into the cage. Dos Santos tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Walken slips a jab and a cross from Dos Santos.
Walken throws a big shot that misses. Dos Santos throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Walken clinches up against the cage. Dos Santos tries to pull guard but Walken forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Dos Santos jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Walken walks away with a smile on his face. Dos Santos gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rafael Dos Santos. That's going to take a lot out of him. A bone on bone clash there as Walken blocks the leg kick.
Dos Santos misses with a looping right. Dos Santos has a takedown stuffed. Christopher Walken is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Walken misses with a kick to the body.
Dos Santos throws a shot from downtown. Walken moves away and avoids it. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dos Santos thuds his right hand into Walken's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Walken has closed the distance and engaged Dos Santos in a clinch.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Walken's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nice uppercut there from Walken. Dos Santos stuns Walken with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Walken closes the distance and pushes Dos Santos back into the cage. Walken is trying to break the clinch but Dos Santos is controlling him. Dos Santos tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Walken just stands there and leans against the cage. Walken breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walken pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Walken tries to work over Dos Santos's front leg with a kick but Dos Santos checks it. Dos Santos misses the body punch and Walken counters with a one-two to the body. Dos Santos throws out a leg kick but Walken moves out of range and Dos Santos only half commits. Dos Santos jabs at Walken's body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A head kick misses from Walken.

Dos Santos half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Walken misses with a left hand and Dos Santos counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Walken keeping moving, preventing Dos Santos from controlling successfully. Dos Santos is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Walken looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Dos Santos puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Walken trying to control but Dos Santos postures up.

Walken tries to kick Dos Santos off but Dos Santos keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Walken is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dos Santos's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dos Santos's back! Our spies down at at English Top Team - THE Hybrid Gym (11 ELITE ) inform us that Walken has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Walken controlling the position well here. Dos Santos rolled but Walken kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Walken has the hooks in. Dos Santos is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. I would not like to be Dos Santos right now.
Walken is trying to stick to Dos Santos's back but Dos Santos is turning into Walken. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Walken's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Dos Santos. Walken is pulling down on Dos Santos's head. It's preventing any offense from Dos Santos, at least for the moment. Dos Santos drops back looking for a leg! Walken is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Walken manages to kick Dos Santos off! Dos Santos jumps back into Walken's guard. Walken is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Dos Santos throwing strikes from guard but Walken blocks nicely. A close second round but Christopher Walken will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Danga de danga de dang - Dos Santos scores with a four punch combination! Walken tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dos Santos manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Walken misses with a head kick.

Dos Santos goes for a double leg but Walken avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Walken continues to drive forward. Christopher Walken seems to be getting the better of the standup. A shot to the liver by Walken. Beautiful body shot. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Walken throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Dos Santos. Dos Santos closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Walken quickly recovers to half guard. Dos Santos is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Walken tries to roll over but Dos Santos keeps him under control. Dos Santos thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Walken's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dos Santos looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Dos Santos passes to side control. Walken is trying to get back to his feet. You can see the frustration on Walken's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Dos Santos throws an elbow but Walken slips to the side and avoids it well.

Walken is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Dos Santos couldn't care less - he's delighted!
