Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, David Schapiro and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melendez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Melendez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Futter paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Melendez shoots in looking for a takedown. Futter tries to sprawl out of it but Melendez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Futter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Futter looking to score a takedown here. Melendez is defending well but Futter drives through and ends up in Melendez's guard.
Futter drops back looking for a leg! Melendez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Melendez manages to kick Futter off! Futter jumps back into Melendez's guard.

Melendez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Futter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Melendez has managed to get both his arms back between Futter's legs - danger averted.
