Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sub Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shit Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Norris comes to the cage accompanied by Norris Man - When Your Time Is Up. Face has chosen Blue clear sky as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sub Norris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Shit Face! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Norris misses with a takedown attempt so Face counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Norris looking for a guillotine here but Face defends easily.
Norris can't keep his opponent in guard - Face advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Norris wants to get back to his feet.
Norris is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Face pulls his head out easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Face is pressing down on Norris's thigh, looking to free his foot. Norris is holding on for now. Norris tries to roll over but Face keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Face trying to control from half guard but Norris is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Face is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Face is working for an americana but Norris has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Face was thinking about the submission. Face wants to pass the guard but Norris is keeping the position. Face trying to control but Norris is working from the bottom. Norris working for a triangle but Face defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Face looking to sit in guard and control but Norris gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Face is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Norris postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Norris trying to control the position from guard on top but Face is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Norris preventing the sweep. Norris in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Norris has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Face's face.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Norris goes for an armbar but Face turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Face. Norris looking for a guillotine here but Face defends easily.
Norris seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Norris looking for a sweep. Not yet Norris, not yet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Face with a flurry of punches that miss. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sub Norris will probably get the nod. That's time! Norris's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Norris is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Norris darts in looking for a takedown but Face gets double underhooks and turns Norris into the cage. Norris takes a body punch but keeps moving. Norris will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Face misses with a low kick.
Norris is looking to counter the offense by Face and move into the clinch. Norris misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sub Norris. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Norris forces Face back against the cage and clinches. Norris is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Norris throws an elbow that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Norris is trying to pull guard but Face has him pressed against the cage. Face wants a takedown but no success here.

Norris tries to stall but Face uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Norris jumps guard but Face stands there with Norris around his waist. Norris gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Face gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Face prevents Norris from getting back to his feet. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Norris is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Norris looking to sit in guard and control but Face gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Face passes Norris's left leg - he's now in half guard. Face is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Face passes to full mount! Face jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Norris is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Norris and Face has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Norris struggling a bit here. Face is trying to get an arm triangle but Norris is defending well. Face is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Norris has escaped the position, nice work there. Face is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Norris is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Norris pushes Face away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Face gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Face wants to lay and pray for a moment but Norris keeps working. Norris is looking for a sweep. Face lands a decent elbow from side control. Face tries for a kimura but Norris is defending well. Norris takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Face is looking to take a break and control but Norris is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Norris wants to control but Face postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shit Face showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Norris tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Face paws at him with a jab and circles away. Norris changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Face tries to avoid it but Norris manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Face to the ground. Face escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Norris fails with a takedown attempt. Nice takedown defense from Face. No joy for Norris on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sub Norris. That's going to take a lot out of him. Norris leaves Face with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Norris wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Norris shoots in looking for a takedown but Face manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Norris's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Norris clinches with his opponent.

Face escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Norris gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Norris throws a big elbow that misses. Norris trying to control but Face is working from the bottom. Face tries to land a sweep but no joy. Shit Face has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Norris postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Face is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Norris, into his guard. Face trying to control but Norris is working from the bottom. Face is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Norris keeping moving, preventing Face from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Face controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Norris keeping moving, preventing Face from controlling successfully. Face drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Norris manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Face has Norris in his guard. Norris looking to pass the guard. Norris passes Face's left leg - he's now in half guard.
