The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim is looking to clinch.
Kim falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sverrisson counters with a nice body kick.
Kim throws a sloppy body shot
and Sverrisson makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Kim tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kim fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sverrisson, pushing him back against the cage.
Sverrisson breaks the clinch.
Sverrisson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kim.
Sverrisson lands a head kick!
Kim has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Thirteenth Legion MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Kim moves into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sverrisson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A head kick by Sverrisson - that's a beauty! Kim is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Sverrisson can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Reynir Sverrisson!
