Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Temujin Borjigin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Angel Santos!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Santos misses with a body shot
and Borjigin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Santos throws a hook to the side of Borjigin's head but Borjigin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Borjigin seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Borjigin scores with a sloppy right hand. Santos should have avoided that one.
Santos cracks Borjigin with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
It looks like Temujin Borjigin has been cut.
Santos throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Borjigin gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

A nice right hand lands inside from Borjigin.

Santos has had enough of the clinch but Borjigin keeps him there for the moment.

Santos wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Borjigin has him pressed against the ropes.

Santos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Borjigin manages to avoid it.
Santos cracks Borjigin with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Angel Santos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Borjigin tried to counter with a leg kick but Santos avoided it.

Santos bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Borjigin's head backwards.
Angel Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Borjigin lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Borjigin connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Borjigin takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Santos takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Santos stalks Borjigin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Borjigin's face. Borjigin staggers backwards, shaken.

Santos feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Borjigins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Borjigin counters with a nice leg kick.

Borjigin shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Santos closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Borjigin misses with a body kick.
Borjigin steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Santos. That one must have hurt.
Borjigin swings for the body but Santos moves out of range.
Borjigin bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Borjigin on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Borjigin feints and then cracks Santos's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Santos down.
Santos throws a body punch but Borjigin moves out of range.

Borjigin lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Borjigin lands a nice leg kick that just misses Santos's sensitive parts.

Santos looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Santos swings for the body but Borjigin moves out of range.
Santos has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Borjigin scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Santos to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

Borjigin cracks Santos with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Santos is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Santos is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Santos could not beat the count!

Temujin Borjigin decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
