Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barry Barrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andron Mokc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mokc has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Andron Mokc has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mokc keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mokc looks winded!
Barrera shoots for a double leg takedown but Mokc sprawls well. He's pushed Barrera's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mokc swinging wildly here.
It looked like Barrera was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Mokc throws a leg kick but Barrera sees it coming and moves out of range.

Mokc tries a head kick but it misses.
Barrera shoots for a takedown but Mokc saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Barrera feints and as Mokc raises his hands in defense, Barrera changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mokc throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Barrera attempts a counter takedown but Mokc avoids it well and moves away.

Barrera darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Barrera seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mokc does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barrera looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Mokc wants to control but Barrera is keeping busy.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mokc is staying active underneath Barrera, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Barrera dives in for a single leg takedown but Mokc sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
