Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hilario Horn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rodeo Joe! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horn closes the distance and clinches up with Joe, looking for a takedown. Horn pushes Joe against the cage but Joe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Joe darts in looking for a takedown but Horn gets double underhooks and turns Joe into the cage. Joe leaves Horn with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Joe shoots in for a takedown and gets it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joe tries to stand but can't do so whilst Horn controls his leg.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Joe in particular looking to stall.
Joe wants to work for an arm triangle but Horn is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Joe is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Horn defends it well.
Joe is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Horn sees it coming and defends easily.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Horn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Joe slows the pace down in half guard.
Joe is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Horn keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Horn trying to control but Joe postures up.

Joe is working for a kimura but Horn is defending it quite comfortably.
Joe is trying for a kimura here. Horn looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Joe wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Rodeo Joe! Rodeo Joe spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
