Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edwin Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Giancana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jordan comes into the arena with Sing For The Moment blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Edwin Jordan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Edwin Jordan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edwin Jordan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sam Giancana! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Giancana misses with a hook. Jordan scores with a body shot.
Jordan drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Jordan misses with a right hand and Giancana counters with a single leg into guard. Jordan didn't expect that. Giancana must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jordan tries to land a sweep but no joy. Jordan trying to keep a closed guard but Giancana is proving a slippery customer.
Giancana advances to half guard. Giancana is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Jordan gets back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Giancana missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Giancana trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jordan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jordan keeping moving, preventing Giancana from controlling successfully. Giancana tries to free his leg and advance position but Jordan is retaining full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jordan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Giancana.
Edwin Jordan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Giancana throws a body punch but Jordan moves out of range. No joy there for Jordan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jordan feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Giancanas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Giancana shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jordan as he jumps to the side. Giancana throws a body punch but Jordan moves out of range. Jordan throws a looping overhand right but Giancana ducks down to avoid it. Jordan cracks Giancana with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Giancana looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Jordan finish him?
Giancana is rocked!
It looks like Sam Giancana has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jordan is stalking Giancana. Giancana circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Jordan, and it's lights out! Giancana really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Edwin Jordan! Edwin Jordan took some time post fight to say the following; 'Landry... Matrix.... It doesn't matter! I'm coming for that title! Toda la gloria a Dios! Soy un guerrero de por vida!'.
