Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Escargesa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allen Sparks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allen Sparks told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Vincent Escargesa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Allen Sparks! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Escargesa lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sparks backs up against the cage.
Escargesa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sparks moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sparks is looking to clinch but Escargesa is avoiding it.
Escargesa throwing a counter right hand but Sparks manages to avoid it. Sparks throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Escargesa stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Sparks closes the distance and pushes Escargesa back into the cage. Sparks gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Sparks breaks the clinch.
Escargesa has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Netherlands Top Team in the buildup to the fight. Escargesa fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Escargesa tries to keep at a distance but Sparks has taken the fight into the clinch. Sparks cracks Escargesa with a nice body shot. Sparks stalling.
Sparks drags the fight down to the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sparks seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Sparks striking from his own guard. Escargesa keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sparks's head. The fighters are working up against the cage. Sparks manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sparks has clasped his hands together around Escargesa's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Escargesa is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Sparks is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Sparks working Escargesa over with strikes here. Escargesa tries to lock up and control but Sparks gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Sparks with good strikes from the mount here! Sparks postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Escargesa looks a forlorn figure.
Escargesa is rocked! Sparks loads up with a big shot that hurts Escargesa! He's pulled Sparks in close but Sparks has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Escargesa survive? More strikes from Sparks and Escargesa is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
