Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Cunha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Davison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lucas Cunha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chris Davison! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cunha gets caught flat footed, as Davison shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Cunha bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Davison's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Davison can do anything to dispel that myth. Davison thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Davison escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cunha gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Davison not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cunha trying to control but Davison is working from the bottom. Davison doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Davison is trying to keep Cunha in close.
Cunha would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Davison working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cunha.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cunha misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cunha has his takedown stuffed and Davison counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Cunha! Davison trying to control but Cunha is having none of it. Davison with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Cunha regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cunha is looking for a sweep. Davison is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Cunha moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Cunha wants to sweep but no luck. Cunha will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Davison trying to control but Cunha is working from the bottom. Davison content to stall in guard here. Cunha is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davison preventing the sweep. Davison sitting in guard here, content to control. Davison looking to pass the guard. Davison gets to his feet - Cunha follows without any prompting. Cunha lands a front kick. Cunha closes the distance looking to clinch and Davison counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Davison content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Cunha wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Davison dominated that round. That's time! Cunha's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Davison closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Cunha tries to pull guard but Davison holds him up against the cage and eventually Cunha drops back down to his feet.
Davison gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Cunha regains guard.
Cunha tries to strike from the bottom.
Davison gets to his feet - Cunha follows without any prompting. Cunha ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Cunha with a poor takedown and Davison counters with a shoot takedown. Cunha fights it but they end up in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Davison controlling from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davison trying to control the position from guard on top but Cunha is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Davison stands up from guard. Let's bang! Davison rushes Cunha and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Cunha is looking to control Davison's arms but Davison gets an underhook and turns him. Now Cunha has his back to the cage. Cunha keeps control of Davison as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Davison wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Davison scores with a shot to the side of Cunha's head. Cunha is trying to break free. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Davison. Davison pulls guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davison seems keen to control Cunha's posture. Davison keeping moving, preventing Cunha from controlling successfully. Davison looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cunha is one step ahead there. Davison looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davison working for a triangle but Cunha defends it easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Davison controls Cunha momentarily but Cunha frees himself. Davison pushes Cunha off and gets back to his feet.
Lucas Cunha is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cunha circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cunha gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Cunha trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Davison showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Cunha gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Davison is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Davison trying to control but Cunha is working from the bottom. Cunha trying to control the position.
Cunha striking off his back but it's not causing Davison any problems. Davison works a leg free and moves into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davison throwing shots but Cunha is blocking nicely. Davison is tying to control. Cunha wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Davison is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Cunha trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Davison tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Davison thowing shots but they're missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Cunha looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Despite being in the dominant position, Chris Davison just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Davison throws a nice looking combination but Cunha bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Davison clinches with his opponent.
Davison tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Davison has had enough of the clinch but Cunha keeps him there for the moment. Davison drags the fight down to the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cunha stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Davison swivels though and keeps the full guard. Davison has his foot on Cunha's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cunha works his way back into a safe position though. Cunha trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Cunha controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Cunha prevents Davison from getting back to his feet. Cunha wants to stand but Davison has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Davison bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cunha's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Davison showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Cunha uses the cage to get back to his feet.
An inside leg kick from Davison misses. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Davison gets the takedown into side control. Davison stands up. Lucas Cunha has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chris Davison is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Davison gets in close and instigates a clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Davison comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Davison winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
