The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elson misses with a head kick.
Winston tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Elson defends well and Winston ends up having to push Elson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Victori Elson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Elson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Winston shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Elson as he avoids it easily.
Elson shoots in but no luck this time.
A head kick by Elson misses
and Winston decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Elson's guard.
Elson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Winston controls the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Winston passes Elson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Winston seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Elson is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
