Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Cohen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mannerheim comes to the cage accompanied by Touch Of Red. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mannerheim misses with a hook. Cohen ducked under it nicely.
Cohen shoots for a takedown but Mannerheim saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Cohen.
Mannerheim is not content to let Cohen control the position.
Mannerheim can't do much from the bottom here.
Cohen taking a break here but Mannerheim is having none of it and regains half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cohen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Cohen takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Cohen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cohen shoots in for a takedown but Mannerheim shows good takedown defense.

and Mannerheim counters by moving into the clinch.
Cohen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mannerheim lands a nice shot that snaps Cohen's head back.
Mannerheim rushes Cohen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mannerheim throws an elbow that misses.
Cohen lands a left hand.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Cohen is trying to break the clinch but Mannerheim has him pressed against the cage.
Mannerheim creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Cohen jumps guard but Mannerheim stands there with Cohen around his waist. Cohen gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenny Cohen.

Mannerheim creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Cohen's defenses.

Cohen has Mannerheim pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mannerheim manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Cohen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Cohen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cohen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Mannerheim tries to roll over but Cohen keeps him under control.
Mannerheim regains full guard. Nicely done.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cohen has gone for a leg lock! Mannerheim slips out almost immediately though and dives into Cohen's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cohen keeping moving, preventing Mannerheim from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Cohen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Mannerheim parries the strikes from Cohen easily there. Cohen is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Mannerheim to escape.

Mannerheim slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Cohen wants to pass the guard but Mannerheim is keeping the position.
Cohen wants to control from the top but Mannerheim keeps moving.

Cohenis looking to pass into half guard but Mannerheim pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Mannerheim is in guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Cohen wants to sweep here but Mannerheim controlling him for the moment.
Cohen is striking but Mannerheim is not phased and passes to half guard.

Cohen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Cohen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The fight stays on the outside here - Mannerheim looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Mannerheim ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Cohen out cold! The fight is over!
