Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Akira Azuma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Dearborn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Will Dearborn told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azuma looks to land a right hand but Dearborn moved out of range.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Dearborn. Azuma shrugs it off though.
Dearborn lands a leg kick that knocks Azuma off balance momentarily.
Azuma fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dearborn sprawls well initially but Azuma persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Azuma wants to free his trapped foot but Dearborn is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Dearborn is holding on to half guard well.
Dearborn tries to get to full guard but Azuma has control of the leg.
Dearborn is staying active underneath Azuma, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Azuma is trying to work for a kimura but Dearborn is defending well.
Dearborn is looking to control Azuma's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dearborn avoid being mounted?
