Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Yukiteru Miyamoto!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomson moves into the clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Miyamoto has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Miyamoto jumps guard but Thomson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Thomson lands a nice uppercut.
Miyamoto wants a takedown but no success here.
Thomson lands a left hand.
Thomson lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Miyamoto looking for a takedown.
Tyresse Thomson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yukiteru Miyamoto.

Thomson gets through Miyamoto's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Miyamoto has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Thomson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Miyamoto seems to have recovered his senses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Miyamoto tries to score a body lock takedown but Thomson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Thomson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Miyamoto is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Still in the clinch, Thomson scores with a nice short uppercut.
Thomson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Thomson misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Miyamoto.

A right handed body shot lands from Thomson.
Thomson creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Miyamoto's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Miyamoto drops to his knees and Thomson pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
